During the intensity of the bush fires I didn’t laugh so much, and it seemed that I wasn’t the only one! Needless to say, overall the effects on health and mood were not great and this was palpable in the air in our community.
When we are not happy everything is affected including our energy levels, creativity, effectiveness and ability to relate to life in general.
I had in mind for a while that I wanted to experience and offer laughter yoga.
I can certainly do with taking myself less seriously at times! When came the opportunity to do a training during my recent holidays in India, I jumped on the on it!
The benefits are tremendous so why should we deprive ourselves from having a good laugh?! We don’t even need to have a sense of humour to practice laughter yoga!!
After all “Laughter is the best medicine” !
