This Yoga Sādhanā series offers the opportunity to balance your energy centres, settle your nervous system, and release energetic blockages.

What is Sādhanā ?
Sādhanā literally “a means of accomplishing something”, it is a sanskrit word that invokes the energy of dedication, transformation, discipline and wisdom for a higher purpose. Sādhanā is also referred to as spiritual* practice. ( * please note this is not a religious practice, spiritual refers to belonging to the spirit/ the soul). Anything that is practiced with awareness, discipline and the intention of spiritual growth can be considered as sadhana. Sadhana requires the quality of self-discipline and is traditionally practiced alone.

This unique Yoga class offers in depth practices that you don’t usually experience in casual mainstream Yoga classes.
This class offers the practice of :
- Hatha Yoga Asanas ( yoga postures) taught in a classical style.
- Pranayama ( specific breathing practices).
- Mudras ( hand gestures that connect with meridians).
- Bandhas ( energy locks).
- Yoga Nidra ( guided relaxation).
- Mantras ( Sanskrit words) and chanting.
- Meditation

You will be in a supportive nurturing and safe environment.

The practices we use are specifically designed to re-harmonize the nervous system and revitalise the energy system of the body we call the Chakras.
For over seven years I have been attending Nandini’s Sadhana class, initially in person and now online. Every week I look forward to Nandini’s gentle and thoughtful practice which allows me to reset, take care of my body and soul, and develop a sound understanding of all limbs of yoga. The online classes have been as welcoming and inclusive as in person. Nandini has a way of bringing the group together as a whole as if we were all in the one room. My name is Nandini, I started Yoga when I was 14 in my home land Tahiti. I was asked to teach yoga by an Indian Yoga Master Shri Mahesh when I was 19. I have been passionate about practicing and teaching Yoga up till now.. some 21 years later. I am dedicated, versatile and creative in my approach. My intention is to bring you to a place of deep connectedness and ease as you explore your own unique Yoga journey so that you can feel amazing and thrive. I have trained with highly regarded teachers like Donna Farhi, Kieran O’Callaghan, Chameli Ardagh, Lisa Shrader.
